Mrs. Ada Crews Traynham of Philadelphia formerly of Halifax County died March 1st at the age of 91.

Mrs. Traynham was born in Halifax County on February 22, 1930 to the late Mr. James Crews and Mrs. Sarah Crews Hooks and was married to the late Mr. Kyle Edward Traynham.

Mrs. Traynham is survived by (1) sister: Ms. Susan Hooks Brown of Detroit, MI; (1) brother-in-law: Mr. Roy Brown of Detroit, MI; (2) nieces who were her caregivers Ms. Lavell Traynham and Ms. Audra Traynham and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews; other relatives and friends. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by (2) sisters: Ms. Katherine Traynham and Mrs. Elizabeth Breedlove; (6) brothers-in-law and (5) sisters-in-law.

Graveside services for Mrs. Ada Crews Traynham will be held on Saturday, March 20th at 2:00 p.m.at Crystal Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.

Public viewing for family and friends will be Friday, March 19th from noon to 6 p.m. at The Crawford House Chapel in Halifax. Following COVID -19 guidelines, a face mask and social distancing will be required.
