Mrs. Alease Virginia Eldridge Moore of Sutherlin, VA died Monday, March 28th at the age of 88.

Mrs. Moore was born in Halifax County, VA on February 2, 1934 to the late Fred Pleasant Eldridge and Mary Hogue Eldridge and was married to the late Isaac Charlie Moore. She was a member of White Oak Grove Baptist Church.

Mrs. Moore is survived by (7) daughters: Mildred Moore, Velma Moore, Brenda McLaughlin, Barbara Logan (Bennie), Marian Hamlin, Sandra Turner (Thomas) and Kimberly Moore; (3) sons: Marvin Moore, Glenn Moore (Brenda) and Isaac Moore; (14) grandchildren; (30) great grandchildren; (3) great great grandchildren; (1) great great great grandchild; (3) sisters: Beatrice Harris, Margaret Crews and Freddie Paige (Charles); (1) brother: James Eldridge (Thelma) and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Mrs. Alease Virginia Eldridge Moore will be Saturday, April 2nd at 11 a.m. at White Oak Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Hayward Jennings, eulogist. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Public viewing for family and friends will be Friday from noon until 6:00 p.m. at Jeffress Funeral Home. A face mask and social distancing is required.
