Mr. Andrew Brame, Jr. “Muksie” of Maryland and formerly of Halifax County, VA died Thursday, May 12th at the age of 72.

Mr. Brame was born in Halifax County, VA on June 12, 1949 to the late Andrew E. Brame and Martha Green Brame. He was married to the late Marion Powell Brame and was a member of Maple Springs Baptist Church. Mr. Brames was a United States Army Veteran.

Mr. Brame is survived by (1) son: Latreal Brame, (1) daughter: Rochelle Shaffer; (1) daughter-in-law: Lisa Brame; (1) son-in-law: Dwayne Shaffer; (3) grandchildren; (1) brother: Randy Brame (Barbara); father-in-law: Earl Powell (Inez); and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in laws, other relatives and friends. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by (1) sister: Veronica Duncan; and (1) brother: Rickey Brame.

Funeral service for Mr. Andrew Brame, Jr. will be held Saturday, May 28th at 11 a.m. at New Zion Baptist Church with Rev. Willie N. Yancey officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with military rites by American Legion Post 99 and The United States Army Honor Guard.

Public viewing for family and friends will be Friday from noon to 6 p.m. at Jeffress.

A face mask and social distancing will be required at the service.
