Ms. Anna Louise Chandler of Halifax, VA died Thursday, March 30th at the age of 85.

Ms. Chandler was born in Halifax County, VA on September 12, 1937 to the late Harrison Chandler and Cary Lovelace Chandler. She was a member of Deliverance Tabernacle, South Boston, VA.

Ms. Chandler is survived by (2) daughters: Michelle McLaurin (Charroll) of Hyattsville, MD and Stephanie Barksdale (Michael) of Newport News, VA; (3) sons: Harvey Chandler (Mary) of Halifax, VA, Mark Chandler (Lorna) of Scottsburg, VA and Stephen Chandler (Nakita) of Danville, VA; (18) grandchildren; (24) great grandchildren: (3) sisters: Gladys Edmonds, Bonnie Womack and Thelma Leigh (John); (3) brothers: Earl Chandler (Betty), Lawrence Chandler (Marion) and John Chandler (Louise); and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, Anna was preceded in death by (1) son: Sandy T. Chandler; (2) sisters: Alberta Williamson and Novella Leigh; (1) brother: Roger Chandler; and (1) grandchild.

Funeral services for Ms. Anna Louise Chandler will be held Monday, April 3rd at 1:00 p.m. with services at The Crawford House Chapel, Halifax, VA. Burial will follow in Halifax Memorial Gardens.

Public viewing will be at Jeffress Funeral Home on Sunday, April 2nd from noon until 6:00 p.m.
