Ms. Anne Marie Womack of Nathalie, VA died Thursday, May 6th at the age of 71.

Ms. Womack was born in Halifax County, VA on August 26, 1949 to Rachel Edmonds and Raleigh Womack, Sr. and was a member of New Zion Baptist Church.

Ms. Womack is survived by (1) daughter: Rondii Womack; (1) son: Chauncey Womack; (2) grandchildren: Isiah and Samuel; her parents: Rachel Edmonds and Raleigh Womack, Sr.; (1) sister: Starlinne Brown of Los Angeles, CA; (3) brothers: Corkey Womack (Glenda) of Danville, VA, Raleigh (Angela) of Montgomery, AL and Deanie (DeAnna) of Maryland; (2) aunts: Maple Palmer and Janie Walker; (1) uncle: Willie Womack (Barbara); (4) nephews; (3) nieces; and a host of cousins, other relatives and devoted friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by (1) sister: Rosa Pearl “Cookie” Davis and (1) nephew: Corey Davis.

Graveside service for Ms. Anne Marie Womack will be held Wednesday, May 12th at noon at New Zion Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Willie N. Yancey officiating.

Public viewing for family and friends will be Tuesday from noon until 6:00 p.m. at Jeffress Funeral Home.
