Ms. Benita Griffith Wanzer of South Boston, VA she peacefully left this life on Thursday, April 27th at the age of 65.

Ms. Wanzer was born July 23, 1957 in Washington, DC to Emily Pounds Griffith and the late Lemont Griffith. She was a member of Ebenezer C.M.E. Church.

Ms. Wanzer is survived by her mother: Emily Pounds Griffith; (2) children: Cochise A. Wanzer, II (Nancy) and Chiree D. Wanzer; (3) grandchildren: Cochise, III, Nick and Noah Wanzer; (2) sisters: Deborah Bond (Benjamin) and Lakeeta G. Mayfield; her beloved grand-dog: Bentley; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by (1) brother, Jerone L. Griffith and a special niece, Jahnell L. Hammonds.

Funeral services for Ms. Benita Griffith Wanzer will be Friday, May 5th at 11:00 a.m. at Ebenezer C.M.E. Church with Rev. Blanche Stewart, eulogist. Live stream  Facebook Page: Jeffress Funeral Home: South Boston, VA
