Ms. Carol Ann Royal of South Boston, VA died Thursday, June 30th at the age of 64.

Ms. Royal was born in Halifax County, VA on July 8, 1957 to the late Jake Matthew Royal and Pearl Edmondson Royal. At an early age, she joined St. Paul Christian Methodist Episcopal Church.

Ms. Royal is survived by (1) daughter: Pamela Royal; (1) granddaughter: Eri’yon Cameron; (1) great grandson: Tristan Coleman; (3) sisters: Sylvia Palmer of Clover, VA, Glenda Barksdale of Gladys, VA and Wanda Royal of Halifax, VA; (1) brother-in-law: Wendell Palmer of Clover, VA; (1) sister-in-law: Katie Royal; and a host of nieces, nephews, great nephews, other relatives and friends including the devoted Antron Edmonds. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by (2) sisters: Pearl D. Royal and Sallie Kirby; and (3) brothers: Harvey Royal, Carl Edmondson and Jake Royal.

Funeral services for Ms. Carol Ann Royal will be held Friday, July 8th at 11 a.m. at Jeffress Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dwight Wilkerson, eulogist.

Public viewing for family and friends will be Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Jeffress Funeral Home.

A face mask and social distancing is required.
