Mrs. Celia Mae Brandon Ford died on Wednesday, November 18th at her residence at the age of 74.

Mrs. Ford was born in Halifax County, VA on January 31, 1947 to the late Willie Brandon and Martha Bowman Brandon. She was married to Donald Clay Ford, Jr. and was a member of Greater Mayfield Apostolic Church. Celia was employed with Edmondson cleaners for 20 years.

Mrs. Ford is survived by her husband of 54 years: Donald Ford, Jr; (4) children: Donna Ford, Tonya Miller (David), Tracey Dixon (Jerry) and Donald Ford, III (Cookie); (13) grandchildren; (12) great grandchildren; (2) sisters-in-law; (1) nephew; and a host of nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by (1) grandson: Nicholas Miller: (3) brothers: Willie, Jr., Theodore and Curtis Brandon; and (2) sisters: Shirley Wells and Elizabeth Brandon.

Funeral services for Mrs. Celia Mae Brandon Ford will be held Tuesday, November 23rd at noon at Greater Mayfield Apostolic Church with Suffragan Bishop Bernard Wilkins, officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery.

Public viewing for family and friends will be Monday from noon until 6:00 p.m. at Jeffress Funeral Home. Following COVID- 19 guidelines, a face mask and social distancing will be required.
