Mr. Charles Eugene Smith of Nathalie, VA died Saturday, November 19th at the age of 71.

Mr. Smith was born in Halifax County, VA on November 21, 1950 to the late James E. Smith and Malinda Snead Smith. He was formerly employed at Burlington Industry.

Mr. Smith is survived by (1) son: Shahn Smith (Robin) of North Carolina; (2) brothers: Larry Smith (Sharon) of Florida and Vincent Smith of Nathalie, VA; (2) sisters: Edmonia Coleman of South Boston, VA and Virginia Jones (Clarence) of Nathalie, VA; (4) grandchildren; (6) great grandchildren; (1) aunt: Betty Carr of New York; his companion: Frances Edmonds of Nathalie, VA and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by (1) brother: James Ernest Smith.

Funeral service for Mr. Charles Eugene Smith will be Saturday, December 3rd at 10:00 a.m. at Jeffress Funeral Home.
