Mr. Charlie Raymond Marshall of Nathalie, Virginia passed away on Saturday, February 27th at the age of 72.

Mr. Marshall was born in Halifax County, Virginia on December 14, 1948 to John Louis Marshall and the late Judie Mae Johnson Marshall. He was a faithful and active member of Sunflower Baptist Church and was employed numerous years for a logging company.

Mr. Marshall is survived by his father, John Louis Marshall, of Nathalie, VA; (5) sisters: Sallie Mae Marshall and Linda Marshall, both of Richmond, VA, Margaret Hatney (Willie) of Augusta, GA, Debra Marshall of Atlanta, GA, and Diane Marshall of Baltimore, MD; (4) brothers: Reverend John Marshall (Lorie) of Milwaukee, WI, James Marshall of Philadelphia, PA, Gerald Marshall of Nathalie, VA, and Kenneth Marshall of Norfolk, VA; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his wife and mother, Mr. Marshall was preceded in death by one brother, Mr. Willie Marshall.

Funeral services for Mr. Charlie Raymond Marshall will be Monday, March 1st at 11:00 a.m. at The Crawford House Chapel in Halifax with Rev. Robert M. Tucker, Jr., eulogist. Burial will follow in Sunflower Baptist Church Cemetery.

Public viewing for family and friends will be one hour prior to service. Due to Covid-19 seating will be limited and a mask and social distancing is required.
