Mrs. Christine Lacks Randolph, VA died Tuesday, October 26th at the age of 87.

Mrs. Lacks was born in Halifax County, VA on January 19, 1934 to the late Johnny Wooden and Lottie McCormick Wooden and was married to the late Ben Lacks, Sr.

Mrs. Lacks is survived by (6) sons: Anthony Lacks (Alicia), Ben Lacks Jr, Kelvin Lacks (Anita), Lester Lacks, (Bobbie), Zachary Lacks (Margaret), all of Clover, VA and Joseph Lacks (Marion) of Red House, VA; a host of grandchildren; (1) sister: Veronica Melendon of New York; (1) brother: Melvin McCormick (Anita) of Richmond, VA; and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by (1) sister: Esther Wooden and (5) brothers: Mark Lacks, Charles Wooden, Horace McCormick, Lionel McCormick and Johnny Wooden.

Graveside services for Mrs. Christine Lacks will be held Monday, November 1st at noon with services at Bethel Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Elder William Richardson eulogist.

Public viewing will be at Jeffress Funeral Home on Saturday from noon until 6:00 p.m. Following COVID -19 guidelines a face mask and social distancing will be required.
