Mr. Clark Randolph Scott of South Boston, VA died on Saturday, April 30th at his residence at the age of 86.

Mr. Scott was born April 25, 1936 in Halifax County, VA to the late John H. Scott and Martha Daniel Scott and was married to Mary Clark Scott. He was a member of Jeter Chapel Baptist Church and was employed at Daystrom Furniture until 1993. Mr. Scott was a United States Army Veteran.

Mr. Scott is survived by his wife: Mary Clark Scott of the home; (3) daughters: Cynthia C. Wilkerson (Lawrence) of Virgilina, VA, Brenda S. Ledermann (Daniel) of San Antonio, TX and Valerie S. Raynor of Waldorf, MD; (1) son: Clark Randolph Scott, Jr. (Monica) of Manassas Park, VA; (10) grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by (3) brothers: Tom C. Scott, John E. Scott and William D. Scott; and (1) sister: Mildred S. Coley.

Funeral services for Mr. Clark Randolph Scott will be Saturday, May 7th at 11:00 a.m. at Dan River View Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Lawrence Wilkerson, eulogist. Burial will follow in Jeter Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery.

Public viewing for family and friends will be Friday from noon until 6:00 p.m. at Jeffress Funeral Home.
