Mr. Daniel Calvin “Kiff” Faulkner of Elliott Ave, South Boston died Wednesday, March 17th at the age of 90.

Mr. Faulkner was born in Halifax County on August 18, 1930 to the late Mr. Daniel J. Faulkner and Mrs. Nannie Murphy Faulkner. He was married to Mrs. Jennie Elam Faulkner and was a member of Blue Wing Grove Baptist Church.

Mr. Faulkner is survived his wife: Mrs. Jennie Elam Faulkner; (1) grandson: Mr. Branden Ridgeway; (1) great grandson: Master Blake Ridgeway; (2) nieces: Ms. Kimberly Elam and Ms. Tracye Elam, whom they raised as their own; (4) sisters-in-law: Ms. Dorothy Faulkner, Ms. LaForest Faulkner, Ms. Rosa Evans and Mrs. Annie Mildred Bailey (Joseph); (1) brother-in-law: Mr. Otis J. Elam (Shirley); and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by (1) daughter: Mrs. Charlene Ridgeway; (4) brothers: Mr. Ernest Faulkner, Mr. Elmo Faulkner, Mr. Willis Faulkner and Mr. Ulysses Faulkner.

Graveside service for Mr. Daniel Calvin “Kiff” Faulkner will be held March 24th at 1 p.m. at Bluewing Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.

Public viewing for family and friends will be Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Jeffress Funeral Home. Following Covid-19 guidelines, a face mask and social distancing is required.
