Mr. David Junior Barksdale of South Boston, VA died on Friday, October 1st at the age of 67.

Mr. Barksdale was born in Halifax County, VA on January 10, 1954 to the late Frank Womack and Annie Barksdale and was a member of New Vernon Baptist Church.

Mr. Barksdale is survived by (2) sisters: Annie Edmonds and Patty Barksdale, both of South Boston, VA; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by (1) sister: Rosa Walton and (4) brothers: Kenneth Barksdale, Glen Barksdale, John Barksdale and George Barksdale.

A memorial service for Mr. David Junior Barksdale will be Saturday, October 9th at 2:00 p.m. at Constitution Square, South Boston, VA.
