Mr. Donald Leo Harris of Halifax, VA died Tuesday, May 9th at the age 63.

Mr. Harris was born in Halifax County, VA on June 7, 1959 to the late Felix Scott and Isabella Harris and was a member of Banister Hill Baptist Church. He was formally employed by Halifax County Public School as a custodian.

Mr. Harris is survived by (3) sisters: Dora Lassiter, Gyvonia Harris and Goldie Scott Holt, all of South Boston, VA; (8) brothers: Amos Harris, Lawrence Harris (Angela) Felix Scott, Authur Scott, Cornell Scott, Terry Scott and Donald Waller, all of South Boston, VA, and Chris Scott of Philadelphia, PA and a host of other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by (3) brothers: Ronald Harris, Tyrone Harris and Ronald Waller.

Funeral services for Mr. Donald Leo Harris will be Friday, May 12th at 11 a.m. at Banister Hill Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Oak Ridge Cemetery.

Public viewing for family and friends will be Thursday from noon to 6 p.m. at The Crawford House Chapel in Halifax.
