Mr. Earl Gray Coleman of Danville, VA died Thursday, December 2nd at the age of 76.

Mr. Coleman was born in Dryburg, VA on May 12, 1945 to the late Rev. Joseph Nathan Coleman and Mary Elizabeth Coleman. He was formerly employed by Burlington Industries and later retired from driving trucks.

Mr. Coleman is survived by (4) sons: Earl Coleman (Dorothy) of Fayettesville, NC, Anthony Coleman and Rick Coleman, both of Philadelphia, PA and Cherish Coleman of Baltimore, MD; (1) daughter: Chesna Coleman Calloway (Wayne) of Java, VA; (13) grandchildren; his siblings: Evelyn Coleman and Gus Dunkin, both of Patterson, NJ and Nathan Coleman of Scottsburg, VA;  and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends including the devoted Robert Lee Mosley (Frances). In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by (1) sister: Annie Hamlet; (1) brother: Joseph Coleman and (1) brother-in-law: Billy Dunkin.

Funeral services for Mr. Earl Gray Coleman will be Saturday, December 11th at 11:00 a.m. at Jeffress Funeral Home.  A face mask and social distancing is required.

Public viewing for family and friends will be Friday, from noon until 6:00 p.m. at Jeffress Funeral Home, South Boston, VA.
