Mr. Edward Brandon died Tuesday, February 14th at Duke University Hospital at the age of 90.

Mr. Brandon was born in Halifax County, VA on July 22, 1932 to the late Charlie Ed Brandon, Sr. and Sarah Jane Brandon. He was a member of Greater Brandon Chapel Missionary Baptist Church.

Mr. Brandon is survived by (1) daughter: Sarah Burroughs of New Windsord, N.Y; (1) granddaughter: Olivia Jackson and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by (3) sisters: Rosetta Jeffress, Gladys Pointer, and Eva Jeffress and 5 brothers: Solomon Brandon, Samuel Brandon, John Brandon, Clifton Brandon and Charlie Brandon.

Funeral services for Mr. Edward Brandon will be held Monday, February 20th at 1:00 p.m. with services at Greater Brandon Chapel Missionary Baptist Church with Rev, Charles Brandon as eulogist. Burial will follow in church cemetery.

Public viewing will be at Jeffress Funeral Home on Sunday from noon until 6:00 p.m.
