Mr. Edward Jonathan Coleman of South Boston, VA died Saturday, September 3rd at his residence at the age of 77.

Mr. Coleman was born in Halifax County, VA on May 17, 1945 to the late Arthur Coleman and Leanna Jeffress Coleman. He was married to Frances Bowen Coleman and joined Spanish Grove Baptist Church at an early age.

Mr. Coleman is survived by his wife: Frances Bowen Coleman of the home; one god child, Micalle Coleman; one sister-in-law, Patricia Coleman; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, Mr. Coleman was preceded in death by one brother, Arthur Lee Coleman and two sisters, Rosetta Jordan and Virginia Daniels.

Graveside service for Mr. Edward Jonathan Coleman will be Wednesday, September 7th at 11 a.m. at Spanish Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Gerald Jeffress, eulogist.

Public viewing for family and friends will be Tuesday from noon until6 p.m. at Jeffress Funeral Home.
