Mr. Edward Carlton Gunter died Sunday, December 26th in Minnesota.

Mr. Gunter was born in Danville, VA on November 24, 1955 to the late McKinley Gunter, Sr. and Bessie Gunter Coleman and the step-son of the late Ulysses S. Coleman. He was a United States Veteran and member of Believers United in Christ Church.

Mr. Gunter is survived by (2) daughters: Auturie Khadija La-Sean Gunter of San Antonio, TX and Brittany Young of Minneapolis, MN; (3) sons: Edward, Jr, Aaron Steward, Jamal Steward, all of Minneapolis, MN; and (1) grandson: Chaz Young of Minneapolis, MN; (3) sisters: Evangelist Fay G. Boxley (Jessie) of South Boston, VA, Doris C. Brandon (Joseph) and Marshella Coleman, all of Alton, VA; (2) brothers: Steve Coleman of Alton, VA and Billy Gunter (Betty) of Philadelphia, PA; (3) aunts: (1) uncle (1) sister-in-law and a host of nephews, nieces ,cousins, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by (1) daughter: Glenda Fay Gunter; (1) son: Edward Aikeem Gunter; (2) brothers: Mckindley Gunter, Jr and Reintzell Gunter; and (2) sisters: Gladys Gunter and Louise King.

Funeral services for Mr. Edward Carlton Gunter will be Thursday, January 20th at 11 a.m. at Jeffress Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Believers United In Christ Church Cemetery, Virgilina, VA.
