Mr. Edward Lee Majors of Vernon Hill, VA died Thursday, November 17th at the age of 54.

Mr. Majors was born in Halifax County, VA on November 14, 1968 to the late Victor Lee Majors and Sallie Bee Acree Majors. He was married to Victoria Palmer Majors and was a professional guitarist for gospel quartets groups.

Mr. Majors is survived by his wife: Victoria Palmer Majors of the home; (2) sons: Jeremy Majors of Nathalie, VA and Edward Lee Hill of Greensboro, NC; (1) daughter: Da’Miah Smith of Burlington, NC; (1) step- daughter: Tamiah Palmer of Roanoke, VA; (1) step-son: Jonathan Palmer of the home; (1) sister: Mary Gilmore of Richmond, VA; (1) brother: Ronnie Majors of Martinsville, VA; (2) sisters-in-law; (2) brothers-in-law and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral service for Mr. Edward Lee Majors will be Wednesday, November 23rd at 11 a.m. at The Crawford House Chapel in Halifax with Bishop Michael Byrd, eulogist. Burial will follow at Mount Pleasant CME Church.

Public viewing will be Tuesday from noon to 6 p.m. at The Crawford House Chapel.
