Ms. Estella Stewart Bailey of South Boston, VA died Wednesday, May 18th at the age of 73.

Mrs. Bailey was born in Halifax County, VA on February 16, 1949 to the late Lynn E. Stewart, Sr and Emma Brooks Stewart. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church and retired from Burlington Industry with over 20 years of employment.

Ms. Bailey is survived by (1) son: Melvin Lee Bailey, Jr; (4) siblings: Whelma Brooks Irby, Luetta Stewart Owen (Bobby), Lynn E. Stewart, Jr. (Melinda) and Novella S. Beaver Leigh (William) and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends including Bettie Dillard, Jacqueline Hamlett, Lucy Deshazo, Syllina Watkins and Jackie Fountain.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 4th at 11 a.m. at Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church, south Boston, VA with Rev. Frederick Eily officiating.

A face mask is required at the service.
