Mrs. Estelle Dabbs Edmondson of Clover, VA died Thursday, June 30th at the age of 95.

Mrs. Edmondson was born in in Halifax County, VA on June 24, 1927 to the late James Dabbs and Lola Hudson Dabbs and was married to the late John Edmondson, Sr. She was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church.

Mrs. Edmondson is survived by (2) daughters: Lola Clark (Robert) of South Boston, VA and Daisy Edmondson of Clover, VA; (3) sons: James Edmondson (Margaret) of Richmond, VA, John Edmondson (Patsy) of South Boston, VA and Clarence Edmondson of Halifax, VA; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; (3) sisters: Lillian Edmondson of Clover, VA, Mary Dabbs and Lottie M. Morton both of Albany, NY; (3) sisters-in-law; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and devoted friends. In addition to her husband, parents she was preceded in death by (1) daughter: Margaret Ellen Carrington.

Funeral services for Mrs. Estelle Dabbs Edmondson will be held Friday, July 8th at 2 p.m. at The Crawford House Chapel with Rev. Moses N. Dixon, eulogist. Burial will follow in Bethlehem Baptist Cemetery.

Public viewing for family and friends will be Thursday from noon until 6:00 p.m. at Jeffress Funeral Home. A face mask and social distancing is required.
