Ms. Eva Corine Ferrell of Halifax County, VA died Wednesday, September 29th at Wake Med Hospital in Raleigh, NC at the age of 80.

Ms. Ferrell was born on November 16, 1940 in Clover, VA to the lateTom Ferrell and  Cassie Nee’ Marshall Ferrell.

Ms. Ferrell is survived by (2) sisters: Ruby Aikers of Jersey City, NJ and Virginia Ferrell of Tuckahoe, NY; (1) brother: Emmitt Ferrell of Raleigh, NC; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by (8) brothers and (3) sisters.

Funeral services for Ms. Eva Corine Ferrell will be held Tuesday, October 12th at 1:00 p.m. with services at Jeffress Funeral Home Chapel in South Boston, VA with Elder Mark Gibson officiating. Burial will follow in Zion Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.

Public viewing will be one hour prior to the service. Following COVID-19 guidelines, a face mask and social distancing will be required. A limit of 50 people will be allowed at the service.
