Mrs. Eva Sally H. Womack of Halifax, VA died September 24th at the age of 95.

Mrs. Womack was born in Halifax County, VA on September 21, 1926 to the late William Garland Hodges and Lula Chappell Hodges. She was first married to the late Wilson Carrington and later married Raleigh Womack. Mrs. Womack was a member of New Hope Christian Methodist Episcopal Church and a retired employee of ABB.

Mrs. Womack is survived by her husband: Raleigh Womack of the home; (2) sons: Roger T. Carrington (Vernesta) and Michael R. Carrington (Michele); (6) grandchildren; (14) great grandchildren; (1) great great granddaughter; (1) daughter-in-law: Gladys L. Frierson and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by (2) children: Frances L. Carrington and Woodrow W. Carrington (Mary) and (7) siblings.

Funeral services for Mrs. Eva Sally H. Womack will be Saturday, October 9th at 11:00 a.m. at New Hope Christian Methodist Episcopal Church with Rev. Blanche Stewart, eulogist. Burial will follow in church cemetery.

Public viewing for family and friends will be (1) hour prior to the service. Following COVID-19 guidelines, a face mask and social distancing will be required. A limit of 50 people will be allowed at the service.
