Ms. Florence “Tess” Wyatt Stewart of South Boston, VA died Wednesday, February 1st at the age of 70.

Ms. Stewart was born in Halifax County, VA on March 31, 1952 to the late Robert Wyatt and Juanita Brandon and was later adopted by Walter Faulkner and Ellen Medley Faulkner.

Ms. Stewart is survived by (1) son: Elijah “Waldo” Porter of South Boston, VA; (6) grandchildren: Shamika Mojica, Shanerra Wyatt, Quantira Porter, Vincent “Jarrod” Wyatt, Jayson Porter and Daquantae Porter; (8) great grandchildren; (1) sister: Valerie Wyatt of Maryland and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by (1) daughter: Janicia Wyatt.

Funeral services for Ms. Florence “Tess” Wyatt Stewart will be Tuesday, February 7th at 1 p.m. at Jeffress Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dwight Wilkerson, eulogist.

Public viewing will be one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.
