Mr. Gary Burch Clarke of Richmond, VA and formerly of Halifax, VA died on Wednesday, February 2nd at the age of 69.

Mr. Clarke was born in Crystal Hill, VA February 5, 1952 to Nonie Burch Clarke and the late Willie James Clarke. He drove Charter Buses for many years and most recently was a bus driver for Henrico County Public Schools.

Mr. Clarke is survived by his mother: Nonie Clarke of Crystal Hill, VA; his siblings: Lorene Price of Arverne, NY, Murriel Pitcher of Brooklyn, NY, Woodrow Clarke of New Haven, CT, Rev. Ronald Dean Clarke (Lucy) of Danville, VA, and James Michael Clarke of Hopewell, VA; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by (2) brothers: Lawrence Acree and Billy L. Clarke; and (2) sisters: Virginia Leak and Lillian Acree.

Funeral services for Mr. Gary Burch Clarke will be Saturday, February 12th at 11:00 a.m. at Jeffress Funeral Home with Rev. Ronald Dean Clarke, eulogist. Burial will follow in Crystal Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.

Public viewing for family and friends will be Friday from noon until 6:00 p.m. at Jeffress Funeral Home. A mask and social distancing is required at the service.
