Mr. George Antonio “Kitten” Faulkner of Halifax, VA died on Monday, April 18th at the age of 55.

Mr. Faulkner was born in Halifax County, VA on June 17, 1966 to the late Garland Sydnor and Fannie Logan Faulkner. He was employed with Tailgaters for over 20 years.

Mr. Faulkner is survived by (1) daughter: Sparkle Chandler; (2) sons: George Chandler and George Faulkner, Jr, all of South Boston, VA; (12) grandchildren; (2) sisters: Christine Faulkner of Halifax, VA and Ella Womack of South Boston, VA; (6) brothers: Joseph Faulkner of Meriden, CT, Larry Faulkner, Kelvin Faulkner, Melvin Faulkner and Ricky Sydnor, all of South Boston, VA and Perry Sydnor of Clarksville, VA; special friends: Jeremy Holt, Mike and Donna Harris, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by (4) brothers: James “Peter” Faulkner, William “Tyrone” Faulkner, Stanley Sydnor and Jerry Sydnor.

Funeral services for Mr. George Antonio Faulkner will be Friday, April 22nd at 2:00 p.m. at Jeter Chapel Baptist Church with Rev. Glenn Faulkner, eulogist. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Public viewing for family and friends will be Thursday from noon until 6:00 p.m. at Jeffress Funeral Home.
