Mr. George Herman Womack of South Boston died Monday, October 3rd at the age of 69.

Mr. Womack was born in Halifax County, VA on December 8, 1952 to Margaret Womack Safewright and the late Mr. Herman Easley Lee. He was a member of Deliverance Tabernacle Apostolic Faith of South Boston, VA. He worked for the City of South Boston and Daystrom Furniture.

Mr. Womack is survived by (3) daughters: Tammie White, Tiffany Watkins (Lamont) and Sarandra Torain; (2) sons: Antonio White and Kareem White; his mother: Margaret Womack Safewright; (1) sister: Sheena Carrington; (9) grandchildren; (1) great granddaughter and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Mr. George Herman Womack will be Sunday, October 16th at 2 p.m. at Mt. Olive Baptist Church with Apostle Carl D. Lykes, eulogist.

Public viewing for family and friends will be Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Jeffress Funeral home.
