Mrs. Gloria Ann Bailey Winstead of Roxboro, NC and formerly of Halifax Co., VA died Wednesday, May 17th at the age of 72.

Mrs. Winstead was born in Halifax County, VA on May 1, 1951 to the late Eugene Bailey and Mary Bailey. She was married to Junious Winstead and was a member of Denniston Grove Baptist Church.

Mrs. Winstead is survived by her husband: Junious Winstead of the home; (1) daughter: Latisha Clark (Geonard) of Roxboro, NC; (2) grandsons: Lamarion Clark and Jaimirious Clark; (2) sisters: Mary Winstead (Arthur) of Roxboro, NC and Gladys Thompson (James) of Alton, VA; (3) brothers: Thomas Bailey (Clarice), Sherman Bailey (Deborah) and Wendell Bailey (Ilor), all of South Boston, VA; (2) sisters-in-law; (2) brothers-in-law; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, Gloria was preceded in death by (2) daughters: Joyce Winstead and Brenda Ann Winstead; (1) granddaughter: Lamariya Clark; (1) sister: Priscilla Bailey and (2) brothers: Eugene Bailey and James Bailey.

Funeral services for Mrs. Gloria Ann Bailey Winstead will be Monday, May 22nd at 1:00 p.m. at Denniston Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Clarence Dale as eulogist. Burial will follow in church cemetery.

Public viewing for family and friends will be Sunday from noon until 6:00 p.m. at Jeffress Funeral Home.
