Mrs. Helen Louise Tomlinson of Duck Trail, Halifax, VA died Sunday, January 29th at the age of 95.

Mrs. Tomlinson was born January 22, 1928 in Halifax County, VA to the late Victor Jones and Mary Virginia Carter Jones and was married to the late Ruvick Tomlinson. She was a member of Emmanuel Seventh Day Adventist Church.

Mrs. Tomlinson is survived by (2) daughters: Helen T. Lovett (Allan) of Raleigh, NC and Priscilla Ann Tomlinson of Halifax, VA; (2) grandchildren; (3) great grandchildren; (1) sister: Bessie Wyatt of Brooklyn, NY; (1) brother: Joe Louis Jones of Delaware, (1) brother-in-law; and a host of nieces, nephew other, relatives and friends. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by (5) sisters: Gladys Jones, Annabel Jones, Ruth “Ruby” Headen, Lillie “Mickey” Rosa and Rebeca "Beck" Dingle.

Funeral services for Mrs. Helen Louise Tomlinson will be Sunday, February 5th at 2 p.m. at Emmanuel Seventh Day Adventist Church with Pastor Frederick Betts, eulogist. Burial will follow in the Oak Ridge Cemetery.

Public viewing for family and friends will be one hour prior to the service on Sunday.
