Mr. Hendricks Fraytee Coles of Nathalie, VA died on Tuesday, March 22nd at the age of 91.

Mr. Coles was born January 15, 1931 in Halifax County, VA to the late Francis Coles and Cary Hendricks Coles and was married to Brenda Gibson Coles. He was a member of New Zion Baptist Church and was a United States Army Veteran.

Mr. Coles is survived by his wife: Brenda Coles of Nathalie, VA; (2) daughters: Leisa Pace and Mona Barnes, both of Greensboro, NC; (4) sons: Gerald Coles (Debra) of Upper Marlboro, MD; Terence Coles of Cheltenham, MD; Eryk Coles (Edith) of Fontana, CA; and Carl Coles (Rachel) of Castlerock, CO; (13) grandchildren; a host of great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by (3) sisters: Annie Powell, Mildred Womack and Joan Gomes and (1) brother: Brann Coles.

Funeral services for Mr. Hendricks Fraytee Coles will be Monday, March 28th at 1:00 p.m. at New Zion Baptist Church with Rev. Willie N. Yancey, eulogist. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with military honors.

Public viewing for family and friends will be Sunday, March 27th from 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Jeffress Funeral Home. A face mask and social distancing will be required.
