Mr. Henry “Hank” Burns, Jr. of Newport News, VA died August 22nd at the age of 61.

Mr. Burns was born November 23, 1960 in Newark, New Jersey to Henry Burns, Sr. and the late Dolly Burns Warren. He was educated in Newark County Public Schools and was an avid Raiders fan.

Mr. Burns is survived by his (1) daughter: LaQuana Burns; (2) sons: Jaquan and Dequan Burns; (3) grandchildren: Jaylen King, Zy’Air Harris and Legend Burns; his father: Henry Burns, Sr.; (1) brother: Ronney Burns; (3) sisters: Shelia Burns, Diane Pollard and Cynthia Waller; Uncles: Wallace Stephens, Donnell Stephens and Joel Cunningham; aunts: Evelyn Cunningham, Catherine Burns, Gwen Burns, Geraldine Stephens, Wanda Stephens, Geraldine Veney, and Ella Williams; (2) special sons: Travis Perry and Lawrence Fenner; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Graveside services for Mr. Henry Burns, Jr. will be Monday, August 29th at 2:00 p.m. at the Burns Family Cemetery. Public viewing will be at the cemetery.
