Mr. Herman Arthur Logan, Jr of South Boston, VA died Saturday, January 22nd at the age of 73.

Mr. Logan was born on October 11, 1948 in Halifax County, VA to the late Herman Logan, Sr. and Ada Logan. He was married to Carlene Terry Logan and was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church, Halifax, VA. Mr. Logan was employed with ABB for 15 years before retiring.

Mr. Logan is survived by his wife: Carlene Terry Logan of the home; (8) children: Corey Logan of Washington, DC, Eric Logan (Kisha) and Tony Logan (Tamyra), all of New Jersey; Tinique (Elwood) of Israel, Monica (James), Lynchburg, VA, LaKeisha (Eric), Herman Logan, III, and Albert Logan (Portia), all South Boston, VA; (26) grandchildren; (4) great grandchildren; (3) brothers; (3) sisters; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Funeral services for Mr. Herman Arthur Logan, Jr. will be Saturday, January 29th at 11:00 a.m. at New Bethel Baptist Church with Rev. Otis Dilliard, eulogist. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Public viewing for family and friends will be Friday from noon until 6:00 p.m. at Jeffress Funeral Home.
