Mr. Howard Robert Featherston, Jr. of Halifax, VA, died Friday, June 3rd at the age of 64.

Mr. Featherston was born in Halifax County on March 14, 1958 to Dorothy Walton Featherston and the late Howard Featherston, Sr. He was married to Odessa Richardson Featherston and was a member of St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church. Mr. Featherston retired from Presto Products, Inc.

Mr. Featherston is survived by his wife: Odessa Featherston of the home; (3) children: Robert Woods (Takoya), Cassandra Womack and Anthony Womack (Marva); (8) grandchildren; (4) great grandchildren; his mother: Dorothy Featherston; (6) siblings: Glenda Motley (Nathaniel), Brenda Robertson (Andre), Susie Brown (Howard), Michael Featherston, Bruce Featherston (Betty) and Sabriana Featherston; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends including the devoted Earl Walton and Walter Ross.

Graveside services for Mr. Howard Featherston, Jr. will be Friday, June 10th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Bruce Featherston, officiating.

Public viewing for family and friends will be Thursday, June 9th from 10:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Jeffress Funeral Home. A face mask and social distancing is required.
