Mr. Jahmez Tyshawn “Rasta” Jones died on Saturday, November 26th at the age of 26.

Mr. Jones was born in Halifax County, VA on November 30, 1995 to James Thomas Jones, Jr. and Angela Crews. He was employed at Dollar General Distribution Center.

Mr. Jones is survived by his parents: Angela Crews (Derrick) and James Jones, Jr. (Stephanie); his siblings: Da’Nesha Coleman, DeAndre Myers, Semone Anderson, Agia Robinson, and Dorothy Robinson; grandparents: Rosa Crews, Juanita Jones and James Jones, Sr.; (1) niece: KaNasia Powell; (7) aunts and uncles; (2) chosen brothers: Cameron Reshard (CJ) and Mar’Kee Brandon; god mother: Shawon Coles; (2) devoted cousins: Malik Crews and Brian Coleman, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by (1) brother: Devonte Powell (Tae).

Funeral services for Mr. Jahmez Tyshawn Jones will be Friday, December 2nd at 2:00 p.m. at Millstone Baptist Church with Evang. JaKesha Jones-Saunders, eulogist. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Public viewing for family and friends will be Thursday from noon until 6:00 p.m.
