Ms. Janice Mae Farrar of Clover, VA died Thursday, May 6th at the age of 61.

Ms. Farrar was born in Halifax County, VA on February 14, 1960 to the late Robert Lee Farrar, Sr. and Mary Cousins Farrar and was a member of Bethel Grove Baptist Church. She was a formerly employed at Golden Skillet and Burger King in Riverdale.

Ms. Farrar is survived by (3) brothers: Robert Farrar, Jr of Clover, VA, Wayne Farrar and George Farrar, both of Alton, VA; (1) sister: Ernestine Farrer of Nathalie, VA; (1) nephew: Kenneth Hite, Jr.; (4) nieces: Courtney Harris, Kristin Hite, Dominique Farrar and Brionna Farrar; (5) great nephews; her fiancée: Larry Boyd and a host of other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by (1) sister: Caroline F. Hite and (1) brother: Charles E. Farrar.

Funeral services for Ms. Janice Mae Farrar will be held on Saturday, May 15th at 1 p.m. at Jeffress Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Marvin Bowman officiating.

Public viewing for family and friends will be Friday from noon until 6:00 p.m. at Jeffress Funeral Home.
