Ms. Janice Shaleen Fitzgerald formerly of Halifax, VA died in Richmond, VA on Sunday, September 5th at the age of 69.

Ms. Fitzgerald was born in Halifax County VA on August 15, 1952 to the late Leon Fitzgerald and Lucille Davis Fitzgerald and was a member of New Vernon Baptist Church.

Ms. Fitzgerald is survived by (8) siblings: Anna Henderson (Norman) of Alexandria, VA; Larie Fitzgerald, Sr. (Beverly) of Woodbridge, VA; Curtis Fitzgerald of Halifax, VA, James Fitzgerald (April) of Manassas, VA; Charles Fitzgerald of Salem, VA, Patrice Crawford and Donna Fitzgerald, both of Richmond, VA and Stuart Fitzgerald of Clifton, VA; (3) aunts; and a host of special nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by (1) brother: Robert Fitzgerald.

Funeral services for Ms. Janice Shaleen Fitzgerald will be Wednesday, September 15th at 11 a.m. at The Crawford House Chapel, Halifax, VA with Rev. John Elliott, eulogist. Burial will follow in New Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery.

Public viewing for family and friends will be (1) hour prior to the service on Wednesday.
