Mrs. Jean Audrey Green of South Boston, VA died on Thursday, April 13th at the age of 71.

Mrs. Green was born in Halifax County, VA on October 8, 1951 to the late William Henry and Virginia Watkins Crews and was married to the late Louis Lorenzo Green. She was a member of Jeter Chapel Baptist Church, and retired from Burlington Industries in Halifax, VA.

Mrs. Jean Audrey Green is survived by (1) son: Cornelius Green; (1) daughter: Shelby Green, both of South Boston, VA; (6) grandchildren: Kaos, Nawdashia, Taiyhana, Kaniel, Rahmell and Asar; (2) brothers: George and Lenox Crews (Caroline), all of Clover, VA; (3) sisters: Martha Blair (Ulysses) of Clover, VA, Joyce Whitaker of Baltimore, MD and Velma Crews of Clover, VA; and a host of other relatives, and friends. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by (4) brothers: Melvin, John Lindsey, Alvin Louis and Kenneth Crews; and (2) sisters: Carrie Dismuke and Effie Louise Dismuke.

Funeral services for Mrs. Jean Audrey Green will be Wednesday, April 19th at 2:00 p.m. at Zion Grove Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Public viewing for family and friends will be Tuesday from noon until 6:00 p.m. at Jeffress Funeral Home.
