Mr. Joey Everette Ballou of Halifax, VA died on Sunday, December 25th at the age of 44.

Mr. Ballou was born on July 9, 1978 in Halifax, VA to Jennie Jones Ballou and the late John Ballou. He was a graduate of Halifax County High School.

Mr. Ballou is survived by his mother: Jennie Ballou of Halifax, VA; (1) son: Jaylen Ballou of Texas; (1) sister: Tania Ballou; (2) devoted nieces: Jasmine Ballou and Destiny Ballou; (1) nephew: Kevon Brown; and a host of other great nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.

A public viewing for Joey Everette Ballou will be Friday, December 30th from noon until 6:00 p.m. at Jeffress Funeral Home.
