Mr. John Harold Anderson died on Friday, December 10th at the age of 81.

Mr. Anderson was born July 22, 1940 in Halifax County, VA to the late Rev. John Anderson and the late Mrs. Rosalind Royal Anderson. He retired from the trucking industry in Lynchburg, VA after 30 years of service.

Mr. John Harold Anderson is survived by (2) sons: Harold Anderson (Rosetta) and Jeremy Anderson; (2) stepchildren: Rodney Moorman and (Tracey), and Sabrina Hilber (Rodney): (4) grandchildren: Shaina Anderson, Timothy Anderson, Tiffany Anderson and Christopher Anderson; (3) step grandchildren; (2) step great grandchildren; (4) siblings: Gloria Howerton (Willie), Thomas Anderson (Annie), Rev. James Anderson, and Doris Ferrell (Rogers); and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Funeral services for Mr. John Harold Anderson will be Saturday, December 18th at 11:00 a.m. at the Crawford House Chapel, with Rev. John Elliott, eulogist.

Public viewing for family and friends will be Friday from noon until 6:00 p.m. at Jeffress Funeral Home. A face mask and social distancing will be required.
