Mr. John Jackson Ross, Jr. of Halifax, VA died on Sunday, April 3rd at the age of 94.

Mr. Ross was born July 3, 1927 in Port Washington, New York to the late John Jackson Ross, Sr. and Lillian Sydnor Ross. He was married to the late Esther Reisig Ross and was a United States World War II Army Veteran.

Mr. Ross is survived by (1) son: John Reese Ross (Ericca); (3) grandchildren; (1) sister: Rosa Ross; a special friend and caregiver: Bettye Robinson; a host of nieces, including Mattie Cowan, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by (1) daughter: Sandra Meyers; (1) granddaughter: Kim Dumpson; and (2) brothers: Isaiah McCargo and James Ross.
