Mrs. Karen Michelle McCraw Wade of South Boston, VA died Friday, February 26th at the age of 63.

Mrs. Wade was born in Halifax County on November 19, 1957 to the late

Phyllis Rogers and later became the daughter of James John McCraw and Gertrude Waller McCraw and was married to the late Robert Wade.

Mrs. Wade is survived by (2) sisters: Barbara Travis and Pennie Tyler of New Jersey; (1) brother: Samuel Wade (Samantha) of Concord, VA; devoted cousins and caregivers: Carolyn and William Penick of South Boston, VA, and. Kia Boxley Gillespie and her family: Jasper and Keon; (2) aunts: Anne Henderson and Elizabeth Williams; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends including the devoted: Geraldine Tisdale, Belinda Walker, Minnie Stephens, Jennifer Bruce and Mollie Nunn.

Funeral services for Mrs. Karen Michelle McCraw Wade will be Saturday, March 6th at 2:00 p.m. at Jeffress Funeral Home Chapel with Apostle Carl Lykes, eulogist. Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery.

Public viewing for family and friends will be one hour prior to the service. Due to Covid-19 seating will be limited, a mask and social distancing is required.
