Mr. Kirk Wooden, Sr. of Clover, VA died on Wednesday, June 23, 2021 in South Boston, VA at the age of 66.

Mr. Wooden was born June 21, 1955 in New York City to Major Lacks and Virginia Wooden and was a United States Army Veteran.

Mr. Kirk Wooden is survived by (!) son: Mr. Kirk Wooden, Jr.; (2) daughters: Charlene Sosa and Sabrina Wooden; (3) grandchildren: Gary Sosa, Amanda and Kayla Wooden; and another granddaughter on the way;(3) nephews: Darrell W. Wooden, Darrell T. Wooden and Alex Wooden; (2) aunts; and (2) uncles; and a host of other relatives, and friends.

Funeral services for Mr. Kirk Wooden, Sr. will be Saturday, July 3rd at 11:00 a.m. at The Crawford House Chapel, Halifax, VA with Rev. Alfred Chandler, eulogist. Burial will follow at a later date in Amelia Veterans Cemetery, Amelia, VA.

Public viewing for family and friends will be Friday, July 2nd from noon until 6:00 p.m. at Jeffress Funeral Home, South Boston, VA.
