Mr. Lamar Thomas Jennings of Concord, NC and formerly of South Boston, VA died on Friday, January 7th at the age of 37.

Mr. Jennings was born June 24, 1984 in Halifax County, VA to Henry E. Jennings, Jr. and the late Monteenia Bethea Jennings and was married to Shanita Bailey Jennings. He was baptized at First Baptist Church, Ferry Street, South Boston, VA under the leadership of Rev. Allan G. Smith.

Mr. Jennings is survived by his wife: Shanita Bailey Jennings of the home; (3) children: KyAsia, Deondre and Jasmin; (1) grandson: Karter; his father: Henry Jennings, Jr.; (2) brothers: LeVar E. Jennings (Kim) and Antonio Boyd (Stephanie): (1) sister: Kasi Jennings; his father and mother-in-law: Danny Bailey, Sr. (Ann); a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 

Funeral services for Mr. Lamar Thomas Jennings will be private.

Public viewing for family and friends will be Friday, January 14th from noon until 6:00 p.m. at Jeffress Funeral Home. A face mask and social distancing will be required.
