Ms. Lavern Fountain of South Boston, VA died Saturday, June 5th at the age of 64.

Ms. Fountain was born in Halifax County, VA on August 28, 1956 to the late Mrs. Jean Boxley Hubbard and Mr. Matthew Hubbard. She was a United States Army Veteran.

Ms. Fountain is survived by (1) sister: Ms. Lorene Daughteridge of South Boston, VA; (2) brothers: Mr. Matthew Hubbard and Mr. Tony Hubbard, both of South Boston, VA; (3) nephews; (1) aunt; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.

Graveside service for Ms. Lavern Fountain will be Friday, June 11th at 11 a.m. at Rose Garden Cemetery.

Public viewing for family and friends will be Thursday from noon until 6 p.m. at Jeffress Funeral Home.
