Mrs. Lillian Grace Bowman of Crystal Hill, VA died Wednesday, April 28th at the age of 67.

Mrs. Bowman was born in Halifax County, VA on September 1, 1953 to the late Stephen Barksdale and Willie Mae Lipford Barksdale. She was married to Frank Bowman, lll and was a member of Crystal Hill Baptist Church. Mrs. Bowman worked a number of years for Sales Knitting Company and her last position was with Presto Products where she worked as a Machine Operator/Supervisor for over 30 years.

Mrs. Bowman is survived by her husband: Frank Bowman, lll of the home; (2) daughters: Franka Bowman-Williams (Christopher) and Brooke Bowman, all of Midlothian, VA; (1) granddaughter: Adelyne Graceann Williams; (3) sisters: Margie B. Logan of South Boston, VA, Lois B. Hodge of Fort Washington, MD and Elsie M. Smith of North Carolina; (2) brothers: Stephen L. Barksdale of Silver Springs, MD and George W. Barksdale (Earnestine) of Oxon Hill, MD; (1) brother-in-law: Daniel Watkins; (1) sister-in-law: Rachel Barksdale; and a host of other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by (2) brothers: James D. Barksdale and William E. Barksdale and (1) sister: Dorothy E. Watkins.

Graveside service for Mrs. Lillian Grace Bowman will be held on Wednesday, May 5th at 11 a.m. at Crystal Hill Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Louis Lee officiating. Following COVID-19 guidelines, a face mask and social distancing will be required.

Public viewing for family and friends will be Tuesday, May 4th from noon to 6 p.m. at Jeffress Funeral Home.
