Ms. Louise Wood Jennings of Halifax, VA died at her residence on Monday, May 24th at her residence at the age of 103.

Ms. Jennings was born July 27, 1917 in Halifax County, VA to the late Mr. Bird Wood and Mrs. Rosa Jackson Wood.

Ms. Jennings is survived by (1) sister: Bessie Wood Ferrell of South Boston, VA; (3) nephews: Jimmy E. Wood, Alfred D. Wood (Linda), and George Wood, all of South Boston, VA; (1) niece: Thelma Wood Dean (William) of White Plains, NY; and a host of grand nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by (2) brothers: George Washington Wood and Alfred Edward Wood and (1) sister: Frances Virginia Wood.

Graveside services for Ms. Louise Wood Jennings will be Tuesday, June 8th at 2:00 p.m. at Banister Hill Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Dr. William F. Carr, eulogist.

Public viewing for family and friends will be Monday from 10:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Jeffress Funeral Home, South Boston, VA.
