Mr. Marquis Jahleel Younger of Danville, VA died Thursday, February 23rd at the age of 36.

Mr. Younger was born in Halifax County, VA on May 13, 1986 to Veronica M. Younger and William J. Vaden. He was employed at Eaton, Inc., Roxboro, NC.

Mr. Younger is survived by his mother: Veronica M. Younger of Danville, VA; father: William J. Vaden of Chatham, VA; (3) children: Shakira Janasia Jones - mother, Sherri Jones of Java, VA, Mahogany Jade Younger and Marquis Jahleel Younger Jr. – mother, Paige Doster all of Roxboro, NC; (1) brother: Kelly J. Harris of Danville, VA; a special aunt: Sharon D. Younger of South Boston, VA, and uncles: Donnell Younger of Kempner, TX and Leon Terry of Oakley CA; and a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends including Tigress Clements, Rashon Childress, EJ Cunningham, Latoya King, Daniel Clark and many more. He was preceded in death by grandparents who helped raised him: Lester and Ruby Younger.

Funeral service for Mr. Marquis Jahleel Younger will be Saturday, March 4th at 11 a.m. at Shockoe Baptist Church with Rev. Antonel Myler, eulogist. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Public viewing will be Friday from noon until 6:00 p.m. at Jeffress Funeral Home.
