Mrs. Mary Glenn Sims Coleman of Virgilina, VA died Tuesday, January 4th at South Boston Health and Rehabilitation Center at the age of 96.

Mrs. Coleman was born on November 5, 1925 in Roanoke, VA to the late Raymond Elmer Sims, Sr. and Barbara Street Sims. She was married to the late Leroy Coleman and was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church.

Mrs. Coleman is survived by (2) daughters: Mary C. Wyatt and Pauline C. Ingram (John); (4) grandsons: Eddy, Keith, Adrian and Travis; (3) great grandchildren: Brittney, Bryan and Brandon; (4) great great grandchildren: Kaiden, Kayleigh, Kaitlynn and Brielle; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents and husband, Mary was preceded in death by her oldest daughter: Barbara C. Bryant; (4) brothers: Raymond, Jr., Alex, George and Jake; (2) loving sons-in-law: Morris Bryant and Bert Wyatt.

Graveside services for Mrs. Mary Glenn Sims Coleman will be held Thursday, January 13th at noon with services at the Coleman Family Cemetery in Virgilina, VA with Rev. Lawrence Wilkerson officiating.

Public viewing will be at Jeffress Funeral Home on Wednesday from noon until 6:00 p.m.

Following COVID-19 guidelines, a face mask and social distancing will be required at all viewings and services.
