Mrs. Mary Magdeline Edmunds Tucker died Wednesday, November 3rd at the age of 100.

Mrs. Tucker was born on March 28, 1921 in Halifax County, VA to the late Henry Edmunds and Florence Vaden Edmunds. She was married to the late Earnest Roberson and later married the late Charlie Tucker. Mary was a member of Emmanuel Seventh-Day Church.

Mrs. Tucker is survived by (4) sons: Ernest Roberson (Kimberly), Dexter Roberson (Lisa), John Roberson and Calvin Roberson (Wendy); (1) brother: Hamilton Edmunds; (11) grandchildren; (14) great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. In addition to her husbands and parents, Mary was preceded in death by her daughter: Mary Roberson; her siblings: Henry Marvin Edmunds, Dorothy Anderson, Hannah Everett, Rachel Moore, Margaret Beverly, Gurfes Edmunds, Catherine Daniels and Gladys Alexander.

Funeral service for Mrs. Mary Edmunds Tucker will be Wednesday, November 10th at 11 a.m. at Emmanuel Seventh Day Adventist Church with Pastor Calvin Roberson officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery.

Public viewing for family and friends will be one hour prior to service. A face mask and social distancing will be required.
